Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Andreen-Gale
"Old Wente from Camp Meeting Ridge is the predominate clone (more than 70%) with the balance being a mix of Dijon clones and mature Clone 4. Brilliant, pale straw color. Citrus aromas of lemon and floral notes are followed by subtle notes of mineral and vanilla bean. Fruit flavors and citrus on entry complimented by round mouth-feel leading to a long, complex finish. Drinking impressively now and will continue to develop."
- Winery notes
"Pair with lobster tail or monk fish. An excellent sipper. Cellar now through 2014."

Flowers Chardonnay Camp Meeting Ridge 2001 750ml
$59.99
Sonoma Coast
"The nose this vintage is unusually forward for our estate Chardonnay at this young age. Intense aromas of baked apple, pineapple, vanilla, and hazelnut immediately waft from the glass. Typical Old Wente Clone minerality comes through on the palate and lingers through the long finish. The texture this year is especially creamy and round and should allow this wine to be enjoyed a bit earlier than normal. Acidity, while firm now, will soften over the next 6-12 months and we expect this vintage to age very gracefully. This wine should be a fantastic accompaniment to rich seafood, poultry, and most robust Holiday Season fare. Remember to serve at cellar, not refrigerator, temperature for the most flavor and greatest aromatic complexity."

"Tight, with fresh earth, mineral, green apple and lemony citrus notes that are compact and concentrated, ending with a long, clean, fruity aftertaste. Drink now through 2011."
"Showing balanced depth and complexity, light straw to golden color, aromas unfold with layers of lemon peel, green apple, orange blossom and wet stone minerality. This vintage shows weighted richness on the palate, a supple texture, long clean finish with fresh and bright acidity. Showing very well now and will continue to gain complexity for 1 - 3 years."

"A lovely pairing for citrus stuffed roasted chicken and an exquisite sipping chardonnay."

"This single-vineyard bottling from the 2005 vintage offers layered minerality and pear. The 2005 Stone Côte is amazingly concentrated, with white peach flavors that complement its complex texture and long finish. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. The 2005 Stone Cote is a spectacular vintage that will age longer than most. Pair this wine with a myriad seafood dishes: monkfish, scallops and seabass. Enjoy now or cellar through 2013."

"One of the finest chardonnays in its price point. The beautiful golden colored chardonnay reveals a nose of caramel and green apple. Flavors of green apple pear and subtle white peach and a backbone of racey acidity lead to a flinty finish. A delicious sipper, and a perfect pairing for shell fish, white fish and light poultry dishes."

"Green-gold. Strong leesy character underscores fresh lemon, lime and pear aromas, with a light smoky note adding depth. Very Burgundian in style, with strikingly focused orchard and citrus fruit flavors, creamy texture and a refreshing jolt of acidity on the finish. A subtle toasty note lingers on the finish of this very impressive "basic" bottling."
"This vintage of Rochioli Chardonnay will pair well with white fish and scallops. A beautiful sipper, as always from J Rochioli. Enjoy now or cellar through 2011."
